Synopsis

Almost mythological, A Montanha rises, in its inner tone (that is, sound), from a desire for a profound transformation in the way of living, grounded in a return to Nature and in a universal ethical and loving communion among human beings.

Using the poetry of Pascoaes as its structural foundation (drawn mainly from the poem “Marânus), it also draws on the lyricism of Camões and Pessoa, among others, all converging in the humanistic and spiritual vision of Agostinho da Silva: to create beauty, to love humankind, and to praise God.

“The world always ends up doing what poets dreamed.”
