King Ahasuerus chooses a bride, Queen Esther, without knowing she is Jewish. Mordecai, the queen’s adoptive father, saves the king’s life. Haman becomes the Prime Minister and the king’s favorite, but Mordecai refuses to honor him. Haman, furious, decides to destroy all the Jews…
This is the motto that brings together students and professionals from the ESML Opera Studio, a work of research and interpretation for the revitalization of opera, to make it more appealing, bringing to the public pieces that deserve a new approach. This is the proposal for Ester.
