In a world where machines and human beings can communicate with each other and share the same hopes and aspirations, certain machines have a different agenda. There’s a Vacuum Cleaner that tries to dominate the world. There’s a Car that kidnaps people; there are two Motorcycles that rob a bank and an Elevator that takes people to places they don’t want to go; and there’s a Telephone that says what people would like to say and not what they actually say – with terrible results for Mrs. Morris, the old lady who bought it.
