In Baghdad, the young Lindane refuses to marry Don Fabrizio and is placed in the care of two women who wish her ill, Baroness Lucrezia and Giacinta. The true object of her passion is Dalmiro, a noble lord, the son of the man responsible for her father’s death.
Amidst dangers, misunderstandings and traps — including the threat of a lion in the forest — Lindane and Dalmiro face intrigues, jealousies and challenges until, finally, love triumphs and all wrongs committed are forgiven.
