Synopsis

The action begins with a car accident, perhaps caused by…? And suddenly, an ambitious politician (Roberto, baritone) finds himself lost between two rallies. He doesn’t know where he is and desperately tries to flee from those two old people (Cremilde, mezzo-soprano, and Alfredo, bass) who pursue him and call him son. His bodyguard (Marta, soprano) protects him as is her duty but questions herself… They cross paths with two strange characters: a “madwoman” (Alice, contralto) with a chicken on her head, pushing a shopping cart carrying a provocative drug addict (Ferlucci, tenor) who calls her mother. The space gradually becomes more defined and these beings realize they have, after all, begun their final journey. Someone, however, may still be saved…
